Some of you have asked for some practical information, so here it is. Claire is smaller than we thought. We were told that she was 26 pounds in February. She is only 25 pounds now. She is 84 cm tall and the 24 month/2T clothes that we brought, will fit her for quite a while. She cannot wear any of the pants that we brought. First they are too big, second they do not work with the bag. She will be a dress girl for a while. She only has dresses without sleeves right now, so I will have to take care of that when I get home. No sleeves is great here, but will not work well on Whidbey!
Today has been an easier day of communicating. We were told to tell her boo ya pretty harsh when we want to say no to her. She shuts down if we do that, so, we just say it gently now with a smile. We discovered this morning that she is potty trained. It was by God's grace that I figured out why she was mad. She is now in big girl pants and MUCH happier! She still prefers me to James, but we are working on it.
