Claire is still resting well in ICU. They were able to take out her internal blood pressure monitor. She has been experiencing some discomfort, but they finally reached the pain management people and got her more medicine. She has been a little alert. At least enough to express her discomfort in having a heart rate band on her sucking thumb! They moved it to her other hand and she is still having trouble sucking on it because of all the IVs.
It sounds like it will be two weeks before they even start the dilation process. They have decided to definitely do the first one in the operating room. How they progress after that is left to be determined. I will try to update again once they move us out of ICU.
